The guitar course is open to classical guitar players of all abilities and ages*.
All lessons will take place at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance situated on the magnificent grounds of the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich.
Greenwich is a very beautiful, historic part of London and the campus sits on the southern banks of the River Thames,
directly opposite Greenwich Park, the National Maritime Museum, Queen’s House and Royal Greenwich Observatory.
The course will comprise of two thirty- minute individual lessons, masterclasses, guitar orchestra
and chamber music group tuition over an action packed three days.
In addition to the guitar orchestra, students will be placed into chamber music groups to receive chamber music coaching.
Parts for the chamber music and guitar orchestra will be sent out one month prior to the festival start date.
There will also be an informal student concert on the final course day.

The course begins at 1pm Wednesday 9th July 2025. Classes then start at 9am on both Thursday 10th July and Friday 11th July 2025 and the course will end following the evening concert on Friday 11th 2025 .



The course is non-residential, although there are plenty of hotels nearby for those travelling from a distance.

The course fee, which includes all tuition and admission to all festival concerts is only £230.00.

 *Classical guitarists from grade 1+ standard can attend the course. Children under 18 years old can attend but they must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the course.
