Timur Dersuniyelioglu is a guitarist who began playing the guitar at the age of eight. Following his early studies in viola at the Baku Music Academy, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in guitar with High Honours at the Department of Music and Performing Arts in Istanbul, where he studied with Bülent Ergüden and chamber music with Ricardo Moyano. He subsequently completed his Master’s degree in guitar at Conservatorium Maastricht in the Netherlands, studying with Carlo Marchione. During his time there, he was awarded the Zuyd Excellence Scholarship as well as a scholarship from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Based in London, Timur’s professional activities include solo performances, chamber music projects, and a dedicated teaching practice. With an extensive background in music education, his approach emphasizes technical excellence, musical depth, and stylistic awareness, guiding students toward high-level performance and interpretative development.
